Where local ingredients meet considered cooking.

Our main restaurant is open for dinner every evening. We work with local farmers and producers from the Musanze highlands to create a seasonal menu that changes with what is available and at its best.

Guests can choose from a full tasting menu or order à la carte. Private dining is available on request.

All-Day Café

Coffee, drinks and bites at the cave entrance.

The Cave Café sits at the entrance to Grotta's natural cave system. It is open throughout the day for specialty coffee, hot drinks, light meals, artisanal snacks, and an evening selection of rare spirits.

No reservation needed. The café is open to all guests at any time during operating hours.

Crafted cocktails as the highland evening settles in.

Open every evening, our cocktail bar and lounge is a comfortable space to wind down after a day at the resort. The cocktail list draws on local botanicals and Rwandan spirits.

Wines by the glass, bar snacks, and a relaxed setting. Open to all guests from 5PM.

Pool and gardens for every part of your stay.

The swimming pool and outdoor gardens are available to all guests throughout the day. Both spaces are included with every room and require no reservation.

The Pool

The resort swimming pool is open daily and available to all guests at no extra charge. It sits within the resort grounds with views of the surrounding highland landscape.

The Gardens

Landscaped grounds open throughout the day and evening.

The resort gardens and terraces surround the property and are open to all guests. Walk through the farm garden, sit on the highland terraces, or gather at the evening bonfire.

The gardens are also used for outdoor dining and private events during warmer months.

Grotta Resort offers two dedicated spaces for corporate groups, conferences, workshops, and large gatherings. Both venues combine a professional setup with the unique environment of a highland volcanic resort.

Our events team handles all logistics. Groups can focus on the work or the relaxation — while we take care of everything else.

Grotta Resort is expanding. The two facilities below are currently under development and will open in the coming years. They are not yet available but we are sharing them here so guests can plan future visits.
